Abundant Vegetable Producers

What are the most abundant vegetable producers? We are all feeling strapped for time and want our gardens to give us the best bang for our buck, time and energy. There are some plants that will give you lots of vegetables - sometimes more than you can eat or give away.

List of abundant vegetable producers:

One of the easiest ways to have an abundant harvest to to succession plant. This means planting a new crop every few weeks all season.  That way you are able harvest more vegetable for a longer period of time.

Vegetable plantings in a season:

Beans every 2 weeks to mid July

Beets every 4 weeks to mid July

Broccoli every 4 weeks to mid July

Cabbage every 4 weeks to mid June

Carrots every 4 weeks to mid June

Chard every 4 weeks to mid August

Chinese Veg every 2-3 weeks to mid August

Cilantro every 2-3 weeks to mid July

Lettuce every 2-3 weeks to mid August

Kale every 4 weeks to mid August

Radish every 2-3 weeks to mid July

Scallions every 2-3 weeks to mid August

Spinach every 2-3 weeks to mid June

Zucchini every 3-4 weeks to mid June
